Rogue Funding
Privacy Policy.
How we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you ask us to help you find funding.
This Privacy Policy explains how Rogue Funding LLC ("Rogue Funding," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit goroguefunding.com or submit a funding request through this site. By using this site or submitting our funding form, you agree to the practices described here.
Who we are, and an important note
Rogue Funding is a business-financing brokerage based in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon, serving business owners across the United States. We are not a lender or a bank. We help business owners connect with third-party lenders and funding sources. All credit decisions, rates, terms, and funding come solely from those lenders, not from Rogue Funding. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, funding, or any particular amount, rate, or terms, and there is no cost to you to submit a request or to use our brokerage services. Because we handle financial information, we treat the protection of your data as a core part of how we operate.
Information we collect
When you fill out our funding form, we collect the information you provide, which includes:
- Your name.
- Your phone number.
- Your email address.
- Your business name (optional).
- A description of what you need funding for.
- Your estimated funding amount.
Some of this, such as your funding needs and requested amount, is sensitive financial information, and we handle it accordingly. If you contact us by phone or email, we also keep the information you share in that conversation.
When you simply browse the site, our web host and standard server logs may automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. We do not currently run third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking analytics on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and disclose what is used.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry and understand what you are trying to do.
- Evaluate your funding request and submit it to lenders and funding partners in our network to seek offers on your behalf.
- Contact you about your request by phone, text message, and email.
- Operate, maintain, and secure the website.
- Meet our legal, recordkeeping, and compliance obligations.
We do not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell your financial information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
How we share your information
We share your information only as needed to help you get funding and to run our business:
- Lenders and funding partners. When you ask us to find funding, we share your request and the information you provided with lenders and funding sources in our network so they can evaluate it and make offers. These disclosures are made as permitted by law to carry out the transaction you asked us to pursue.
- Service providers. We use trusted third-party services that process information on our behalf, such as the provider that delivers our contact form (see "Third-party services" below). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rogue Funding, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. If Rogue Funding is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
As a business-financing brokerage, Rogue Funding may be compensated by the lenders or funding partners in our network when a funded transaction closes. This does not add any cost to you.
Third-party services
Our website relies on a small number of third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:
- Web3Forms. Our funding form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-to-email service. When you submit the form, the information you entered (name, phone, email, business name, funding needs, and amount) is transmitted to and processed by Web3Forms, which then emails your submission to us. Web3Forms acts as a processor for this purpose. You can review Web3Forms' privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts. This site loads its fonts from the Google Fonts service. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which as a technical part of delivering those files receives your IP address and basic browser and request information. This is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies and tracking
This is a simple, single-page marketing site. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser may allow essential or preference cookies, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. If we add analytics or other tracking in the future, we will update this policy and describe how to opt out.
Phone and text message communications
When you submit our form, you authorize Rogue Funding and the lenders and funding partners it works with to contact you at the phone number and email you provided, including by phone call, text message (SMS), and email, about your funding request and related financing. Consent to receive calls or texts is not a condition of using our services or of receiving any funding. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop contacting you by emailing or calling us using the details below.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it to pursue your funding request, provide our services, and meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations (including records of communication consent). When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.
How we protect your information
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, consistent with our obligations under the federal safeguards rules that apply to financial businesses. Your form submission is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you rights over your personal information. Where these rights apply to you, they may include the right to:
- Know about and access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Request that we delete your personal information.
- Obtain a portable copy of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising or profiling.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
If you are an Oregon resident, you may also request a list of the specific third parties to whom we have disclosed personal data. Much of the financial information you provide is regulated under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and may be treated differently from other personal data under some state laws.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timeframe required by law (generally within 45 days). We also honor recognized browser opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track. As noted above, we do honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required.
Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for businesses and for adults 18 and older. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
This site and our communications may contain links to third-party websites, including those of lenders. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below and post the new version on this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, so we encourage you to review this page periodically.
